2025 marks an exciting milestone for Asthma New Zealand. As we turn 55 years old in May, we also celebrate the 50th anniversary of our “Breathe Easy” campaign – a movement dedicated to improving the lives of Kiwis with asthma and COPD.

For five decades, our commitment to respiratory health has remained steadfast. The “Breathe Easy” campaign was first introduced to raise awareness, provide education, and advocate for better care and support for individuals and families affected by asthma. Over the years, we have worked relentlessly to equip people with the knowledge and tools they need to manage their condition effectively, reducing hospitalisations and improving quality of life.

To commemorate this incredible journey, we are launching a special “Helping Kiwis Breathe Easy for 50 Years” advocacy and communications campaign.

 As part of this celebration, we are unveiling our new 50-year logo—symbolising our lasting commitment to supporting Kiwis with asthma and COPD.  This milestone is not just about reflecting on our past achievements but also about building momentum for the future.
