What does the COPD support group do?
The group provides help and advice for people newly diagnosed with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
The group invites guest speakers to talk about areas of health which are relevant or interesting to members of the group.
The group is run in an informal way.
The group encourages social interaction and aims to relieve/reduce the isolation felt by people with COPD.
The group is ‘FUN’.
